Delete your ChatX account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, from the web app or the mobile app.
On the web
- Sign in and open My profile → Security.
- Click Delete my account, type your email to confirm, and click Delete permanently.
In the Android or iPhone app
- Open More → Profile.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm with your email.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted immediately: your sign-in, profile, devices, two-factor settings and workspace memberships.
- A workspace you own alone is deleted with all its contacts, conversations and media 7 days later.
- Kept: messages and notes you wrote in a workspace other people still use stay there without your name, because they belong to that business's customer records.
- Kept for up to the period the law requires: invoices and payment records.
Can't sign in? Write to us through the contact form from the email address on the account, and we will delete it within 30 days.
